The Challenge

Kifah Apparel, originally focused on gymwear, wanted to break into the streetwear space with a design that celebrated its South Asian roots while appealing to a broader urban audience. The brand needed a graphic piece that would not only expand its identity but also unify its aesthetic direction.

The Solution

We designed a graphic tee rooted in grunge aesthetics, featuring a gothic-style font and distressed, weathered textures. The design drew subtle influence from South Asian visual culture — evoking resistance, pride, and raw street energy. The look was so impactful that it was later adopted as Kifah Apparel’s new official logo, marking a bold shift in the brand’s identity with a dark, edgy style that fused heritage and modernity.

The Result

The piece quickly became a defining element of the brand, allowing Kifah to tap into the emerging South Asian streetwear scene while maintaining crossover appeal. The new logo and visual direction positioned Kifah as a culturally grounded, design-forward label in both gymwear and lifestyle fashion.
